Middle Park faced off against Kingston Hawthorn at St Bedes College in what would turn out to be a one sided affair.
Batting first, Kingston Hawthorn set the platform early through Arian Saulle (37) and Mark Schonewille (53*). Some tight spells from Andrew Crellin and James Petzer however kept the home side in check, Kingston Hawthorn finishing 161/5 from their 35 overs.
In response, Middle Park struggled to get started with the bat. Ankur Desai (27) and Fevin Mascarenhas (22*) fought, however the damage had already been done. Fisher O’Brien’s impressive 4/1 from his 5 overs leading the way.
